PLOPP
( What the app does )
Pop bubble wrap until your finger glows.
Who can resist bubble wrap? In PLOPP you swipe across a sheet of it and have 20 seconds to pop as many bubbles as you can. With the coins you get helpers that pop along with you. Every level gets bigger and harder, and that's on purpose: an upgrade should feel like a reward.

How it works
-
First, the intro
It starts right at launch. The screen fills up with bubbles to the beat of the music. A cartoon hand swipes the first ones away, but new ones keep coming faster. Then PLOPP lands, letter by letter.

Rub your finger across
A round is one sheet full of bubbles and 20 seconds. Tapping won't get you far here, you rub your finger over the bubbles. Every touch does a bit of damage until the bubble pops. Catch a gold bubble, and you get five times the coins plus a gold rush on top. And later on, your helpers pop along.

-
Time's up or all popped
At the end, all that counts is how much of the sheet is gone. Every 20% gets you a star, so five is the max. Pop every single bubble before time runs out, and you get half your coins again on top.

The Plopp shop
In the shop you put your coins into a stronger finger and into more coins per bubble. With enough stars, helpers join in and pop on their own: Blitz (lightning), Walze (roller), Katze (cat) and Regen (rain). After your first prestige, every card in the shop gets its own talent tree. You only see an ad if you want one. Watch a video, and you get a bonus, like more coins or a helper boost. With Premium, you get the bonuses without the video.

Levels, prestige and talents
Once you have 5 stars, the master round is waiting: every bubble in 16 seconds. Beat it and the next level opens up, with new bubbles like steel and shields. From level 3 on you can prestige. That sends you back to level 1, but you get points for it. You put those into talents, and the talents stay with you for good. When you take that step is up to you. And whether it's a new level or a prestige, the game throws its own little show for each.

Updates on PLOPP
All updates-
–
From the browser to a game
- The browser version becomes a real app, with pop sounds, vibration and the purple sticker look.
- A round is now one sheet in 20 seconds, with stars, the shop and ripe bubbles.
- The first helpers pop along, namely Blitz, Walze, Katze and Regen.
- Prestige gives the whole thing a goal. You start over and build out six talent trees along the way, and at the very end there's an endless mode.
-
More punch
- Bubbles wobble and pop with real punch now, and the coins fly up to the counter.
- All sounds are in the same key.
- Switch apps and the game pauses.
- New players get shown by a hand how the rubbing works.
-
Music, intro and Premium
- Music plays everywhere now, and you set the volume with its own slider.
- The intro is done. The screen fills up with bubbles to the beat, a cartoon hand pops the first bubbles, and then PLOPP lands letter by letter.
- Watching a video gets you a bonus, and with Premium you get it without one. You can look at color themes and listen to sounds before you pick them.
- I renamed a few things so they're easier to get. Rolls become levels, master sheets become master rounds and skill trees become talents. A new level and prestige also get their own little show.
- PLOPP has its own app icon now. I had a few generated and then picked one.

PLOPP: new names, big shows
PLOPP used words from my code, like Rolle, Lauf and Meisterfolie (roll, run, master sheet). Now everything has a name you get right away: level, round, prestige and talents. And every new level and every prestige now gets its own show.
